Profiles

I chose the LLM at the University of Exeter as I wanted to gain an international perspective, enrich my personal experiences, and experience different teaching methods.

The programme gives students the freedom to choose modules according to our interests and needs and we are encouraged to get involved in class discussions. The tutors are ready to help wherever needed and the learning resources available are abundant.

The extracurricular activities, student societies, and voluntary activities are well organised and I believe everyone can find a place to develop his/her interests and exercise his/her talents.  The university provides a real sense of belonging.

My principal reason for coming to Exeter was the excellent programme of study that the Law School offers in International Commercial Law. I would definitely recommend studying at Exeter due to its excellent academic staff and rigorous programme, which undoubtedly guarantees obtaining an excellent qualification.

The opportunity to meet new people in Exeter is really something that had a great impact on me. People who come to the University are from all over the world. As a result, you can expect to make friends and meet people who may come from different cultural backgrounds, something that for me has provided a very enriching and satisfying experience.

After graduation I would like to do an internship related to my field of study in a law firm based in London, in order to put in practice all that I have learned here. Afterwards, I will return to my home country to the law firm where I formerly worked, but this time with a deeper legal background both at national and international level, thanks to my studies at the University of Exeter.
