Exeter alumni include:
- Myriam Spengeler (2002/03), who specialises in corporate law at the Cologne office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
- Among the 2001/2002 alumni of Exeter are:
- Sanja Jemenica (LLM in European Law 2001/02) currently works for the Ministry for European Integration, Directorate for the Harmonization of the Legal System, Zagreb.
- Thorsten Harnack (2001/02), who is currently a lawyer practising in Germany, specialises in e-commerce law
- Algirdas Gostatutis (EU L, 2000/2001). He is a Member of the Lithuanian Bar Association since 2001 and heads his own law firm: Gostautis and Partners in Vilnius.
- Martin Fisher ( LLM 2000/01) who currently works as an in-house counsel for the legal services team of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce, in London.
- Paul Lasok QC, from Monckton chambers. He is a barrister who specializes in European Community law and who has appeared many times before the Court of Justice and Court of First Instance of the European Communities. He is the author of 'The European Court of Justice: Practice and Procedure' (Butterworths 1994) and 'Law and Institutions of the European Union' (Butterworths, 2001), a contributor to a number of other works on EC law, and an Advisory Editor of Common Market Law Reports.
- Michael Clarke who was appointed Chairman of the Confederation of Business Industry (CBI) South West in 2002. He has been a partner at law firm Clarke Willmott and Clarke for 25 years and was executive chairman for 6 years.
- Mohamed Al-Mehairi, Legal Adviser to The Executive Council of The Government of Dubai
- Michael Frendo (LLM in European Legal Studies, 1978/79) is currently Chairman, Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, House of Representatives, Malta and a former member of the European Convention (Malta National Parliament nominee). He is also a practising lawyer in Valletta.
- The former Canadian Minister of Justice and Attorney General, The Honourable Martin Cauchon (LLM in International Business Law, 1991).
