Bracton Law SocietyNamed after Henry Bracton, a thirteenth-century Devonian legal scholar and ultimately judge who is known to have studied Law at Exeter and who later composed one of the first treatises on English law, the Bracton Law Society is a student-led and student-run organisation existing for the benefit of students and other members of the Exeter Law School. The Bracton Law Society is one of the most active and high-profile student societies at the university, it organises social and other events, a mooting competition and an annual dinner.
