The Lasok Law Library

The Lasok Law Library is conveniently located within Amory and boasts a collection of about 40,000 volumes including law reports and statutes (from various jurisdictions), monographs, textbooks and periodicals. Recently The Inland Revenue donated a collection of nineteenth century law reports to the library.

The Library subscribes to a wide range of specialist journals and databases (such as Lexis and Westlaw) and is a recognised European Documentation Centre. There are a number of public computer terminals installed at the library (and in other dedicated computer rooms in the building) affording access to the increasing amount of legal information that is now available on-line. IT assistance and advice is provided. The library is open in the evening and at weekends.

Subject Research Guides

Cornwall Campus – Law students at the Cornwall Campus have access to a specialist Law collection, within the main campus library, containing law reports and statutes, monographs, textbooks and periodicals, as well as access to online journals and databases. Non-reference books from the Exeter law library can also be borrowed via the inter-campus loan facility.
