Funding for undergraduate programmes

The Leonard Sainer Foundation & Dechert LLP Award

The Leonard Sainer Foundation provides financial assistance to law student who cannot obtain support from other sources. Operating with Dechert LLP the foundation is offering awards of interest free loans to final year students to finance training courses, Legal Practice Courses or Bar Finals. Up to three students can be nominated from the School of Law for consideration by the Board of Trustees. Full details can be obtained from the School of Law Reception, Amory Building, Streatham Campus once made available by Dechert LLP. The competition normally closes in February each year.

Funding for postgraduate taught programmes

A generous range of scholarships are open to postgraduate taught students in the School of Law. Awards available to students enrolling on a programme in 2010 are detailed below.

Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Open Competition awards	Awards available to UK/EU students. EU students only receive fees (unless they have been resident in the UK for at least three years). Otherwise the award covers fees and maintenance. 1+3 awards combine one years of MSc training with three years PhD funding.	Friday 12 March 2010
