This module introduces you to tort law, a collection of civil wrongs which the law deems sufficiently serious as to warrant a legal remedy. In particular, it introduces those torts which are pertinent to the study of commercial law. It also introduces you to the main principles of conflict of laws, also known as private international law, which determine which country’s law applies to a dispute with an international dimension.
