Mr Adam Nicholls

Law School
Adam joined Exeter Law School in January 2024. He teaches on the following modules: Contract Law; Tort Law, Intellectual Property Law; and Commercial Law. He also undertakes supervision of students on the undergraduate Dissertation module, as well as postgraduate Masters level dissertation students.
As a a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, Adam is interested in student engagement and the development of practical skills that prepare students for real-world legal challenges. By integrating practical applications of law, he aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and professional practice. His current focus is the practical use of AI in academic settings.
Biography:
Adam has been a Lecturer in Law since 2016. Prior to joining the Exeter Law School, Adam was a Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire for 5 years, having module-convened: Law of Torts (LLB); Contract Law (LLB); Commercial Law (LLB; Introduction to Legal Practice (LLB); Family Law (LLB); Employment Law (LLB); Civil Litigation and Advocacy (LLB); International Investment Arbitration (LLM); Intellectual Property Law (LLM).
Adam was previously the Director of the Law Clinic at the University of Bedfordshire and led the establishment of a Support at Court programme.
