Dr Charlie Bishop returned to Exeter Law School in October 2024 after two years as Associate Professor at Reading University. Prior to this Charlie had been at Exeter since starting her PhD in 2010. Charlie researches gender-based violence, with a specific focus on law and policy relating to domestic abuse and coercive control. She is also the Senior Tutor for Law.
