Eddie Lee has a multi-disciplinary educational background. After reading journalism in Hong Kong, he pursued postgraduate studies in human rights law at the University of Nottingham and economics at the University of London. He also studied anti-money laundering law in Hong Kong at the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education before undertaking postgraduate research at the University of Exeter. His PhD research project focuses on the intersection of copyright law and the right to information.
He is also a veteran journalist and has extensive experience in working with print, broadcast and online media outlets.
