Mrs Georgie Wood

I am the Clinic Coordinator for the Law School's Community Law Clinic which offer pro-bono advice to the local community. I assist in the running of the students led clinics, Access to Justice, Family law (in partnership with Citizens Advice Teignbridge) and Immigration law. The Access to Justice Clinic is linked to the third year Access to Justice module.

I have a number of years' experience working at the University providing dedicated support to academic staff, across a range of activities, especially in relation to teaching programme administration, discipline and faculty level organisation.

I have also provided specialist administrative support and advice/guidance to students, in line with Faculty and department pastoral and disciplinary systems.

Prior to working at the university, my career background has been in the legal sector, local authority executive office, and e-communication/social media for sector skills council and training organisations.
