Jake Pritchard is a lecturer in law at the University and a practising Family Law Executive, specialising in private child law, low-income financial settlements, domestic abuse, and social security law (welfare benefits).

 

Jake has worked in both private practice and in-house for Citizens Advice. Prior to joining the Univeristy, he was the Legal Services Manager for Citizens Advice Teignbridge; responsible for their in-house Family Law Clinic and the delivery of specialist advice services. He has extensive experience in creating and delivering adviser learning programmes and seminars for the third sector, local authorities and NHS England.

 

He supervises family cases at the University of Exeter Community Law Clinic and also teaches on Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Legal Foundations.
