Mihail Danov is Professor of Law and Postgraduate Taught Programmes Director in the School of Law.

 

His research interests are in competition litigation and private international law.

 

In 2023, Mihail completed a research monograph, examining the private international law issues which are to be dealt with in competition law disputes that arise in a global context.

 

In 2024, his jornal article, ‘Private Antitrust Enforcement – Improving Injured Parties’ Access to Legal Remedies’ was published in the Global Competition Litigation Review (Issue 3). The paper draws on an empirical study which was carried out in 2022 and which considered how the effectiveness and efficiency of the current private antitrust damages regime should be enhanced with a view to improving access to justice in competition law cases in English and Welsh courts, and the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal.
