Shuo Wang

Shuo is a PhD student, funded by the University of Exeter's faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. His research topic is consumer protection in the metaverse, focusing on the risks that consumers will encounter in this emerging virtual environment and how the consumer protection legal frameworks of the European Union and the United Kingdom can address these risks. 

Shuo is very interested in laws related to technological development and consumer protection, and always welcome to discuss these with him.

Shuo holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Guangxi Minzu University (China) and an LLM degree from University of Exeter (UK). He also received a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) for his PhD study. He also welcomes those who want to apply for CSC scholarships to discuss the process of applying with him. 

In addition, he also holds a Chinese lawyer's practice qualification certificate and has several years of experience in handling civil cases.
