Dr Tracey Elliott

I joined the Exeter University Law School in September 2025, having previously worked as a Lecturer in Health Care Law at the University of Leicester for 15 years. 

I hold an LLB (Hons) from Birmingham University, an LLM from UCL, and a PhD from QMUL. I am a member of Gray's Inn and, after being called to the Bar (Trinity 1986, Malcolm Hilbery Scholarship), practised as a barrister out of Chambers at 4 Paper Buildings and 9-12 Bell Yard. I retired from practice in 2012, but remain a door tenant at Foundry Chambers and am an Academic Consultant at 1 Crown Office Row.
