Exeter Campus
Our Streatham campus in Exeter is one of the most beautiful in the country with lakes, parkland, woodlands and gardens for you to enjoy throughout the year and has a vibrant and welcoming student community.
Our location
- The campus is just a 15-minute walk away from the city centre or you can take advantage of the regular bus service that runs between the campus and the city centre. Exeter is also a bike-friendly city with traffic-free cycle routes and an electric bike hire scheme
- With good air, rail and road links we are less than two and a half hours away from London

Student life
With such a large campus and student community, there is always something you can get involved with. The Students’ Guild has over 200 societies ranging from sport to Faith/Worldview to music as well as an active Chinese Society and so you are sure to meet like-minded people and make friends for life. Exeter itself is a culturally rich and welcoming city with an array of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants alongside award-winning museums, independent theatres and cinemas. You can spend your free time visiting historical sites such as the cathedral, castle and the underground passages or relax with friends on the beautiful quayside, maybe even take a boat trip.
Beyond the city, you will be spoiled for choice for places to visit and things to do. You can go fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast, walking or cycling in Dartmoor or Exmoor National Parks or visit award-winning beaches on The English Riviera.
Penryn Campus
Made up of around 5,000 students the Penryn Campus offers intimacy and friendliness in a stunning setting close to the waterside town of Falmouth.
Our location
- Approximately two hours’ drive from Exeter or two and a half hours by train
- London Paddington Station is a 6-hour train journey with around 24 trains per day during the week
- Penryn’s railway station is a 10-minute journey from Falmouth and 20 minutes from the cathedral city of Truro
Student life
There are lots of opportunities to get involved in the student community at our Penryn Campus with over 150 student societies ranging from sports to gaming and music as well as the International Society you are sure to find like-minded people and make friends for life. Falmouth has a wealth of bars, pubs and restaurants and a lively café culture and is the centre of Cornwall’s creative scene. With seven stunning beaches, rivers and the world-famous marina, it is also a haven for those who love sand, sailing and surf.
Surrounded by stunning coastline and beaches Cornwall is one of Britain’s favourite holiday destinations. If you venture beyond Falmouth and Truro you will find the Eden Project, home to the largest indoor rainforest in the world; Tintagel Castle, a medieval fortification often linked to the tales of King Arthur and world-famous surfing beaches in Newquay.
The Exeter Law School and staff from the University of Exeter’s International team regularly travel overseas running information sessions about the School and our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; meet with offer-holders and the University’s local representatives; visit schools and universities; and attend education exhibitions and academic conferences.
