Legal training
Students planning a career in law can complete both the academic stage of their training and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Exeter thanks to an innovative collaboration with the University of Law (ULaw).
We can now also accept Tier 4 visas from international students who wish to study with us at Exeter. Further information on visa requirements can be found on our dedicated page.
Legal Practice Course (LPC)
The LPC is the vocational stage of the training for those wishing to become solicitors.
You can study the LPC if, on or before 31 August 2021, you completed, started, accepted an offer, or paid a non-refundable deposit for one of the following:
- the LLB
- the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) / the Common Professional Examination
- the MA Law
- the Legal Practice Course (LPC)
- a period of recognised training (also known as a training contract)
