Law School

Our Alumni - Part of our future, forever

Our alumni have helped shape the law and led the profession with great distinction since 1923, and others have used their legal training to build successful careers through other pathways. As the Law School has grown, so has our law community - now 12,000 strong from 120 different countries.

As volunteers, our alumni help us to enhance the student experience and improve career prospects. They bring their industry expertise and insights to the curriculum, support each other in the alumni community, and provide valuable strategic advice and guidance to University staff.

We have many ways in which our alumni get involved, from taking part in careers talks or being a mentor to hosting mock interviews and 'Ask an Alum'. Take a look at our alumni pages and update your details to stay connected with your Law School. You can also get in touch with Head of Law, Professor Clair Gammage to share any ideas you have.

"We are extremely grateful to the Exeter Alumni Annual Fund which has supported us this year and funded our barrister wigs. These wigs have been an incredible addition to our competitions as they have allowed our students to have an authentic experience of what it is like to be a barrister."

"For many in the deprived area where I grew up, the idea of going to university to study Law was not something highly sought after, due to the high costs of university. So to receive this scholarship in recognition of hard work and high achievements is an award I am extremely proud of and would not have been possible without your support."
